How to Book Your

Bespoke Pet or Family Portrait

STEP 1

The first step is to get in touch! Once you’ve decided on your portrait you can contact me via the website contact form or by emailing hello@clairehughesstudio.co.uk. Please include the following:

  • The size you’d like your portrait to be (if you require a custom size, let me know and I can offer you a quote).

  • A bit about your loved one to help me get a sense of their character.

  • Any important dates you need your portrait to be ready for

  • Your reference photos (see guide below)

STEP 2

For work on your portrait to begin, I require a 50% deposit which is payable via bank transfer or PayPal. This deposit will secure your commission slot and is non-refundable.

I will be able to give you a rough timescale and when you can expect to receive your finished portrait.

You will also receive progress updates on your portrait and opportunities to request minor changes.

Pricing

STEP 3

Your portrait is complete! Once your portrait has been finished I shall email you a preview of the portrait to make sure you’re happy with the final image.

I will then send your final invoice and once this has been paid your portrait will be posted to you. All portraits include free, UK tracked delivery (international delivery will incur an additional charge) and are packaged securely.

Reference Photo Guide

The ideal reference photo will be a sharp, clear image taken in natural daylight like the photos shown here.

Photos don’t need to be taken on a fancy camera, phone cameras do the trick to, but please do send the original digital image, rather than screenshots or photos that have been edited.

If it’s not possible to get a clear image, don’t worry! I can work from a selection of photos and we can decide which pose works best to showcase your loved one.

If you are local to Penkridge, Staffordshire, I can arrange a time to come and take a photo for you.
